From its source in the rugged Boston Mountains range of the Ozarks, the Buffalo descends nearly 2,000 feet creating magnificent cliffs and mountain vistas. Nearly 95,000 acres of protected public land along its route, the Buffalo is home to a variety of wildlife.

Mountain Biking

What could be more fun than biking in a beautifully scenic area? Watch our video of mountain biking in the Ozarks. In the Buffalo National Forest, roads that were once used to reach homesteads now serve as bike trails. Together with scenic Highway 7, these mountain trails make for a beautiful biking adventure.
