Readying for our Basscat guests

We have had a couple gorgeous days here in Mountain Home, Arkansas. The days have been sunny with a little breeze and up in the 80's. We've been busy with lawn and flower bed maintenance and planting. The wild life are enjoying the nice weather too. I saw a beautiful male turkey yesterday. It was just standing in the road almost daring me to keep driving. I've seen female turkeys several times but this was the first male I have seen. We have also had a group of 8 deer playing around in the open area near the volleyball court just about every evening this week.

The Basscat Owners Invitational tournament on Norfork Lake is next week. Our first guests will arrive this Saturday. We always look forward to this tournament. The Basscat Owners enjoy their get- together with other Basscatters. We enjoy our reunion with the ones who stay here. We have a few new ones this year, who we look forward to meeting. Most of our Basscat guests, though have been with us for several years. Basscat guests were our first guests as new owners of Hummingbird Hideaway Resort seven years ago. It's hard to believe it has been 7 years already.
